Your One Stop Shop, The Park

Restaurants that turn into lounges or clubs can be a helpful tool for a date. It combines all the aspects of dinner and a drink, along with some dancing that can help you close that 2 foot gap of personal space that stands between you and your date. So for my first recommendation, I bring to you Park situated on the west side right above the meatpacking district (118 10th Ave New York, NY 10011). This venue has a great ambiance made up of many rooms. Ask for a table in The Garden which is a room lined with beautifully lit trees and under a glass ceiling that makes it so that no matter what season it is, you and your date will feel like your having a romantict dinner in the park. Make sure you go here on a Friday or Saturday night and make it a late dinner (9pm) to take advantage of the Penthouse when it opens up around 11pm, The sound system may not be the best but they usually have a good DJ that plays real good dance music. What's that you say, I can't dance? Thats ok, the Penthouse also has a full bar and is a outdoor, Asian themed room with many places to sit, talk, and share a drink to help you to get to know your date better. As one of my friends used to say about this place, "This is a pantie dropper!".
